Hi, I’m Haleigh! I’m the owner a creator of everything you see from the designs, to the actual website; I do it all!
If it wasn’t obvious I think it’s safe to say my work shows what I’m into. I have a big love for the classics from classic clothing pieces, to styles and even movies! I’m a sucker for tattoos (if I could accept them as payment I could) especially the traditional style! My favorite past time is any craft, and a good book after a long day. preferably something that sends chills down my spine! Much like the ghosts I’m obsessed with. While terrified of scary movies, I’ll never say no to torturing myself with one. I also have a love and a special bond with crows and plan to become part of the murder living in my neighbors tree one day! In a dream world they’d bring me crystals and herbs to use in my spells.
I’m a homeschooling mom of two boys and I’d probably classify myself as a SAHM even though I have done a few odd jobs here and there to help get by, and while I loved every opportunity that brought me here, I made this online store so I can do what I love while also being home! Creating new ideas and learning how to design items that I love has been so much fun and something I will always continue to do. I think this shop is my little piece of “more than just a mom”, and while I love my full time job of getting endless snacks and holding my breathe when my child shows me a new trick on his bike- and the obvious one where I homeschool by choice- I think part of me always wanted something that was just mine… a piece of me that still related to the world.
so when I was gifted a new Cricut for Christmas it opened a new door for me. I wanted to create things not just for family but for other moms and the spooky alike. Let’s face it being a mom at 21 didn’t exactly make me a lot of friends but through social media I had grown close to others with a similar style and I knew I wanted to grow on that. I picked a name I’ve used on Twitter for years and decided that’s who I’ll be known as so naming the shop- MotherWolf Shop came easy, I mean my kids last name means “wolf” in Spanish so it wasn’t really left field was it.
While my instagram, twitter, and every other social media outlet had me as @Motherwolf, the shop was still an idea in my spooky little head. When I tell you a lot goes into these things, I absolutely mean it! It took about 4 years to get everything figured out, AND convince my inner circle this was a good idea! If you think I’m joking I’m not, it was a whole power point presentation. Not to mention and countless nights setting up and taking pictures of every item and then creating a crazy big website.. and you know what, I’d do it all again 20 times over!
Here we are! Two years down and I’ve created so many things for so many of you! Everything you see is hand made and an original design that I’ve come up with! I get inspiration in the most random of thoughts and my new drops are random. I still absolutely suck at posting on social media and recording when I’m making orders but I promise it’s all made with love! I’m just a type B mom with a lot going on… did I mention I’m also a photographer?! If not… you could always follow on my social media accounts to watch the process too!
